The 8th International Conference and Exhibition on The Indonesian Medical Education Research Institute 2023 (ICE on IMERI 2023) was held as a blended conference by The Indonesian Medical Education Research Institute (IMERI) on the 10th-11th November 2023. The 8th Ice on IMERI provided a space where experts, researchers, medical practitioners, and students could discuss ideas, insights, and findings regarding "Connecting Data and Genomics to Human Diseases and Medical Education."

This year’s symposium brings up IMERI research projects that focus on growing up healthy, growing old healthy, emerging, and re-emerging infections in the Indonesian Archipelago, vector-borne infections in a changing tropical climate, technology-enhanced learning, interprofessional education, and faculty development and professionalism. This event leads to a creative approach in answering important biological and biomedical questions as the basis for making evidence-based decisions to advance research and improve the management of human diseases.
